Round trip on the train is $84 each.
We can leave Prague at 5:16, 9:16, 11:16 am, etc.
It's 2 hours and 40 minutes to Budweis. We have 11 minutes to transfer, 49 minutes to CK. From there, we walk to the hotel. South, towards downtown.
We can return at 3:01, 5:01, 7:01 pm etc.50 minutes to Budweis, 10 minutes to transfer, 2 hours 36 minutes to Prague.
Buses depart from Praha, Na Knížecí bus station every two hours starting at 7 AM. The trip takes 3 hours and costs about $10 per person each way.
Obviously a lot cheaper than the train, although possibly more confusing. Na Knizeci doesn't seem super easy to get to.
