So, What Did We Decide Saturday?

We'll be in Budapest Friday May 18 to Monday, May 21?

Vienna Monday, May 21 to Thursday, May 24? Or Friday, May 25?

Prague, Friday, May 25 to Monday May 28?

Cesky Krumlov May 28? Budweis May 29?

Prague May 30?

Home May 31?

Try to do laundry in Prague? We are open to hotels or rental places, since we don't need breakfast every morning? Man, that's a lot of variables. I'll see what I can find.

    I think if we get to Prague on Friday head to Cesky K on Sunday that would be good. Then we are back in Prague Tuesday night and Wednesday night. I'll check to see if there is a reason to have an extra day in Vienna. It might not be a bad idea to spend one weekend night in Vienna, but I worry about having only the one night on the Prague part 2 before flying out.

    We're on vacation, every night is a weekend night.

    It might make sense to stay in Vienna until Friday. Then we have four nights in Vienna/Bratislava.

    We could do Cesky Krumlov in one night if we wanted. 9:16 train out of Prague, arrive CK at 12:56. Hike, drink, eat, sleep.

    We can leave CK for Budweis at 901 or 1101, there within an hour. Trains to Prague leave every 2 hours 4:04, 6:04, 8:04.

    So is this our final plan:

    5/18 to 5/21: Budapest
    5/21 to 5/25: Vienna/Bratislava
    5/25 to 5/28: Prague
    5/28 to 5/29: Cesky Krumlov
    5/29 to 5/31: Prague

    I'm ok with that. If we leave early on the 28th and come back late on the 29th,I think we'll have enough time in CK. It's only a 3 hour train ride.

    I'd prefer not to travel back to Prague Wed. and fly home Thurs, would like at least 2 nights without travel.

    If we think we need 2 nights in CK, I could go back to heading from Vienna to Prague on 5/24, then doing CK from 5/27 to 5/29.

    Hard to say how long we "need" in each location. If we get bored in Vienna, we can always leave early to explore some place else.

      You know, technically, "half way" would be Friday, May 25 - our travel day from Vienna to Prague. Not sure which side of it is best to do laundry.

      Not trying to be too complicated, just wanted to point it out.

      I'm fine with waiting until our flat in Prague. I can wear dirty clothes if need be.

    Works for me.

    In my opinion, the biggest benefit of the hotel is the workout rooms, but whatever, I don't want to spend all day inside a gym when I'm in Europe anyway. There are more fun ways to exercise.

    I'm talking about jogging. Perv.
