I've been comparing Ceske Budejovice (Budweis) to Cekse Krumlov. I looked at what wikitravel and Frommers had to say.
Seems CB is bigger and home of the original Budweiser. CK is a smaller, more picturesque town. It has a castle. However, it's not so secret anymore and can be pretty crowed with tourists in the peak season.
They are only like 10 miles from each other and the bus from Prague may be a better option than the train. We could potentially see both, either stay in each, or make one a day trip from the other.
CK has River Rampage.

I think either one would be fine. I'm not sure if I want to try and stay in both. CK seems cool, but the crowds might be annoying.
